Abstract
“Highly gifted children is a term that can seem distant and unprecise to many. The purpose of this study was to examine how gifted children and their parents may experience meeting the school system, in a wide perspective. I wanted to do a qualitative survey within a case design. Choosing theoretical projection and design is founded on a very few depicitons of this mass of students in Norway. Thence I consider this project as some sort of a pre-survey for other thorough or quantitative investigations.
